Pre-Kindergarten Program

(5 full days – 9:00 to 2:30)*

The Pre-K program at Get Ready, Set, Grow Academy is one of a kind and superior to any other in this area. As compared to other private educational facilities that also cater to older grades, our Pre-K youngsters are in a welcoming, safe environment – without the distractions of older children. Our unique program consists of student rotations to different classrooms with teachers specifically chosen for their expertise in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computers and Spanish. Each rotation is offered in an organized and hands-on method that enhances the learning experience. A well measured balance of play, discovery and participation are blended into our day for maximum learning. We teach our Pre-K’s to recognize basic sight words and help them to read simple books. Their oral language and fluency is developed through story telling and reading. Our mathematics is an exciting world of addition, subtraction, geometry, money, telling time, and measurement.

Approximately 85% - 90% of our Pre-K students who apply to private schools are accepted to kindergarten programs and perform well above the norm for their peers. Our graduates have an outstanding reputation and are recognized by the best private schools in the area as being superior students. Through our nurturing environment, we are able to prepare our children for a successful transition into elementary school.
